V-Zone hackers unite. Once you start you can’t stop. It’s all traumatizing. From wonky hair growth, to growing in different directions, to in-grown hairs. No one ever taught me how. It all started using a bar soap and a men’s razor. Literally, felt like silk for a few days until I started waxing.

Feeling a little clingy/”sticky” down there? That’s perfectly normal. Without the length or friction your pubes, your clothing will stick. Go commando for a few hours. On the flipside, pubic hair actually keeps your genitals sanitary. We grow hair downstairs, so it doesn’t itch because of friction.

I asked college girls about their own pubic hair removal choices as women. As these #Spelman college girls pointed out waxing can be pretty painful and uncomfortable which is one of the reasons they haven’t tried it yet. It is often more painful if you try to do it yourself, but the upkeep can be expensive if you have a professional do it every 4-6 weeks.

Pubic hair removal tips: Aloe, Tend Skin, Vitamin E, Neem (stinks tho), and anti-bacterial gel should be part of every girls first aid kit for all those nicks and burns. Whichever you choose, exfoliate in the direction of your hair growth. Going the opposite direction will encourage ingrown hair. Stop going to those Asian joints too. They only carry one type of wax, which doesn’t works on all ethnic hair types. Don’t go the week before / after your period. It will sting like hell and leave a dark shadow from that sensitive area.
